A Perfect Picture of Love
When I think of a couple that truly exemplifies how to love one another, April and David certainly take the cake. I first met April, very soft spoken, humble and welcoming. So when I heard of her engagement I knew that he would have to be something that could complement her presence while making sure not to dominate her laid back persona. Having never met David prior to our engagement session, I didn't know what exactly to expect. But after a brief introduction after he arrived, it was easy to see that David certainly checked all the boxes. He was quiet yet conversational, meek and comical. I was quickly excited to capture their story on camera.
The images speak for themselves. This couple certainly compliment each other well. As the two shared smirks of laughter throughout the session, time seemed to stop. They both provided a level of calamity to the session that made capturing their story natural and authentic. I watched how meticulously their outfits were coordinated, demonstrating how to subtly express their togetherness while also highlighting their individuality. They laughed and shared moments, all while I had the privilege of being a bystander of their love story.
Having had this opportunity, I learned the importance of always being a compliment to your spouse. I thought of the benefits of making sure that your significant other feels valued and wanted. I felt the power of two people connecting deeper than the surface level. They truly demonstrated to me how love is reciprocated.
